Sergeant Abraham Tokier, a member of the Palm Springs Police Officers' Association, sponsored several runners in the 12th Annual Women Running Wild 5K Run/Walk.  Abraham knows the importance of cancer research because he had battled cancer and beat the odds.  He sponsored his wife, Veronica and Palm Springs Police Department employees Nancy Carr, Melissa Desmarais, Rhonda Long, Jennifer Kennedy, Jamie Johnson, Sylvia "Sam" Pye, Leslie Cyphers and Araseli DeLaRosa.  They all completed the run.
