 Books –V- Badges Basketball Game Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. Palm Springs High School Gymnasium 2401 E. Baristo Cost: $2.00
“Books vs. Badges” is a basketball game between Palm Springs Police Officers and Palm Springs High School faculty. The Master of Ceremonies will be Steve Fabian. There will be half-time door prize drawings, the PSHS Jazz Band and the PSPD Color Guard to entertain you.
This year the Palm Springs Police Officers Association has been asked to help raise funds to support the Palm Springs High School, in particular the athletic program. Due to budget shortfalls, some activities are in jeopardy of or have been cut.
The Palm Springs Police Officers Association players have lost to the PSHS Faculty in the past and this will be our Come Back game for bragging rights. Most importantly, it will be our way of helping the students at the Palm Springs High School.
Sgt. Walter Combs is the facilitator for the Palm Springs POA players. Our current line-up of players are:
